Dan Skelton: Going could hinder Shannon Bridge at Cheltenham
Published:Dan Skelton discusses Friday’s runners
Ladbrokes ambassador Dan Skelton has two runners at Cheltenham Festival on Friday and he has given us the lowdown on their prospects in the first and last races of the day.
Cheltenham 12.05 – Hartur D’Oudairies
He won nicely at Warwick but this is a big step up in grade. He is a horse with a massive future as a chaser. It would be nice to go to a nice national hunt hurdle at Cheltenham and then make a plan. He has been in good form at home.
Cheltenham 3.35 – Shannon Bridge
I don’t think the ground is soft enough for Shannon Bridge to be honest. He needs slower ground. However, he is coming into a bit of form now so I am happy with him.
