Cheltenham 2.20 – Nube Negra

This is a very hot race and the last two winners of the Champion Chase are in there. We were second in the Champion Chase last year to Put The Kettle On and this is a rematch plus Politilogue!

It is going to be a very good race. We are very happy, the ground will be perfect, and he’s good at the track.

Cheltenham 2.55 – West Cork

We have had this race in mind for about a month now. I am really glad we entered him into the race because he is in great form.

His form from two years ago is strong enough to suggest that this mark is well within his grasp. I like what I see in training and he won’t need the run as I have done loads with him.

Cheltenham 3.30 – Pikar

Although there are only four runners, it is a good race. My thinking with him is that he ran really well first time. If we keep him for the better races and he wins, he wins a big one.

If he is still a maiden at the end of the season, he starts next season as a five-year-old and a very highly-rated maiden. He can run in all the same races again and with that bit of experience, he should definitely be winning one.

I do like him, he stepped forward on his first run, and there’s nothing to be negative about.
