Newbury 13.15 – Boombawn

Boombawn runs in the maiden hurdle at Newbury and is up against Jonbon but he had a good run around there last time. It was his first time for us and his first time over hurdles.

I really liked what I saw from that. I expect him to go very well. Obviously there is a big talking horse in there who is going to be hard to beat but I am really happy with our horse back at the scene of his promising debut.

Newbury 15.35 – Shannon Bridge

Shannon Bridge runs in the 3m handicap hurdle later on the card. His form is just not there yet. He definitely wants slower ground. He’s a horse for the winter time but we have to run them. The ground is safe.

Doncaster 13.05 – Etincelle Artiste

The first of our two runners at Doncaster is Etincelle Artiste who has a definite chance in the novices’ hurdle. He was second in a point-to-point. He’s an honest horse who jumps well so I am looking forward to starting him off.

Doncaster 14.50 – Starsky

Starsky runs in the handicap hurdle. He all but fell in a chase a couple of weeks ago when he didn’t really like the look of an open ditch so he is back over hurdles to get his confidence up.

On form he is definitely a player. Tristan Durrell takes a handy 7lb off and he’s won on him before.
