Paul Townend looks ahead to his Sunday rides at Cork

I am at Cork on Sunday and start on Ganapathi (11.55). Himself and Grand Barnand (12.25) run in division one and two of this race. They have similar profiles coming from France.
They have both won over a mile and a half. They look to be two nice horses who cost plenty of money. We like the two of them but we are still learning about them at this stage of the season.
I suppose Ferny Hollow’s victory didn’t do the form of Appreciate It (12.55) from the Champion Bumper any harm. He has experience from point-to-points.
His profile speaks for itself. We are hoping to get his hurdling career off to the best possible start.
Internal Transfer (14.00) looks well treated compared to his chase mark.
He is 135 over fences and 110 over hurdles. He was pulled up in the Munster National and took a heavy fall in the Kerry National before that. If he is over the Limerick run, he could be well in
Yukon Lil (14.35) has been schooling very well. She has not been over-raced and I think fences can bring out a bit of improvement so I am really looking forward to getting her started.
Mount Ida had a good run behind Minella Melody at Punchestown last year and is probably the best of the rest. Gin On Lime gets the allowances being a four-year-old, but we are really happy with our one at home and hoping for the best.
Including Saturday’s runners at Naas, those are ten very exciting horses to ride. If a couple can collect, that would be brilliant.
