Gulfstream Park’s Spring Meet begins with a nine-race card whichis live on Sky Sports Racing on Thursday evening.

Ahead of the card, our trader Ian Rozzier has taken a look at theform, including jockeys, trainers and horses to watch…

Leading Jockey

Luis Saez was in sparkling formlast weekend as he came agonisingly close to landing the Gulfstream ParkChampionship Meet Jockeys Championship.

Saez was eventually beaten 115-113 by Irad Ortiz JR but is verymuch the man they all must beat with Ortiz JR still on the sidelines.

Luis Saez rides: Speedy Hans (6.00), Markistan (6.30), Cat Lady (7.31), Hartling (8.34), Etana (9.05), Awsum Roar (9.36) & Limetini (10.07)

Leading Trainer

Todd Pletcher landed his16th Gulfstream Park Championship Meet Trainers Championship on Saturdayfinishing with 48 winners from 210 starts.

He starts the Spring Meet with three runners, two of which areridden by Luis Saez.

Todd Pletcher runners: Cat Lady (7.31), Assume (9.05) & Limetini (10.07)

Horse To Watch

Hartling has won her last four races andhas leading claims to land the five-timer.

Michael Pino’s filly switches back to turf, but that shouldn’t bean inconvenience given how she won on it in January, and the booking of LuisSaez looks very significant given he could have ridden Day’s Of Spring.
