Huddersfield v Fulham betting tips and odds
Championship favourites Fulham started the campaign with a 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough in Marco Silva’s first competitive game in charge and are 20/23 to win at Huddersfield on Saturday.
The Terriers fought back for a 1-1 draw against Derby last weekend despite the absence of manager Carlos Corberan and four players following positive Covid tests.
Town are 10/3 to cause an upset but let’s look at the markets and odds in our Huddersfield v Fulham betting tips.
Match Odds
Huddersfield were missing Lewis O’Brien, Lee Nicholls, Harry Toffolo and Josh Ruffels at Pride Park and they remain doubtful for the clash with the Cottagers.
Although Town picked up a point on Saturday they were up against a Rams team that remain under a transfer embargo despite bringing in four players the day before the match, with Richard Stearman making his debut in the centre of defence.
Having drawn against a team in chaos, the signs do not look good for Town ahead of the clash with the Cottagers who are 5/1 in the Championship title odds and 11/8 to win and under 3.5 goals on Saturday bearing in mind only Sheffield United scored fewer goals in the Premier League last season.

Fulham have a much-changed squad after their numerous loan signings returned to their parent clubs so they will take some time to adapt to the second tier under new coach Silva.
That said, they still have quality players running throughout the team like Aleksandar Mitrovic, new signing Harry Wilson and Neeskens Kebano, so we go 21/10 on the Londoners to be leading at half-time and full-time.
However, Town were trailing at home just three times at the break last season, so Draw HT/FulhamFT looks interesting at 13/4, while the visitors are 8/5 to win the second half.
Talking Tactics
Silva deployed a 4-2-3-1 at the weekend when Mitrovic led the line and Portuguese teenager Fabio Carvalho was flanked by Wilson and Kebano in midfield.
Wilson scored on his debut against Boro and is available at 7/1 to outscore Huddersfield this weekend.
Assistant coach Danny Schofield could be in charge of Town again on Saturday when they are expected to play in a 3-5-2 formation, with Jordan Rhodes and Danny Ward in attack, although Fraizer Campbell is pressing for a place in the starting line-up.
Goalscorer Odds
Mitrovic is the 7/2 favourite to get the ball rolling at the John Smith’s Stadium or 13/8 to score, while Wilson is 7/1 and 3/1 in both markets.
Kebano should have got on the scoresheet against Boro when he headed Kenny Tete’s cross straight at the keeper but he is 9/1 to break the deadlock or 7/2 to find the net.
Huddersfield could struggle for goals this season but Campbell and Rhodes are both viewed at 13/2 to draw first blood and 11/4 to breach the Cottagers defence.
