Invincible odds: Betting on unbeaten season revealed

Ladbrokes have revealed the latest Invincible odds on another unbeaten season in the Premier League.
Twenty years after Arsenal achieved the feat back in 2003-04, the bookies make Mikel Arteta’s men 150/1 to match Arsene Wenger’s Gunners while Manchester City are unsurprisingly 25/1 favourites not to lose a single game.
Liverpool are next in the Invincible odds at 200/1, with Chelsea and Manchester United 250/1 apiece.
Alex Apati, of Ladbrokes, said: “City will head into this campaign as Treble winners and with very little missing from Pep Guardiola’s cabinet, a Golden Premier League Trophy could well be on the cards if the latest odds are anything to go by.”
City’s bid for an unbeaten Premier League season ended in October last year when they lost 1-0 at Liverpool in their 10th league game and they eventually lost five matches in total.
With the pressure of winning a first Champions League now gone, City may feel an unbeaten season is a realistic target although they have lost Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan.
Arsenal lost at Manchester United in their sixth league fixture but won 16 of their first 19 matches and remained unbeaten until February before their season unravelled in the final couple of months.
By the end of the season they had lost six games as they ended the campaign five points behind the champions and will hope to contend again after signing Declan Rice.
