The Jamie Vardy next club odds released by Ladbrokes have revealed that there's a new favourite at the head of the betting.
At the end of April, Vardy announced that his 13-year spell at Leicester was set to end at the end of the most recent Premier League season, but the 38-year-old is being tipped to remain in the UK.
And now that we're firmly into June, Rangers have emerged as the front-runners with Ladbrokes to sign Vardy this summer.
Jamie Vardy next club odds
Jamie Vardy tipped for Rangers move
Old Firm rivals Celtic were once just 4/1 as part of a three-horse race for Vardy at the top of the betting, but they’re now 10/1. It’s 4/1 that the former England international joins an MLS side, while Wrexham are third-favourites to be the former Leicester man's next destination.
Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “Jamie Vardy feels he can still play at the highest level, and with a shot at Champions League qualification, as well as trophy prospects, Rangers stand out among the frontrunners for his signature.”
Below are the odds for the ten favourites to sign Vardy, all priced no shorter than 14/1.
While not one of the favourites, Vardy could well join MLS, a major coup for the league who missed out on Kevin De Bruyne, who is set to sign for Napoli.
Jamie Vardy next club outsiders
We've looked at the favourites, but who are the outsiders with a slimmer chance of securing Vardy's signature this summer?
Despite Wrexham being one of the favourites for his signature, Vardy reportedly doesn't want to drop back down to the Championship and still views himself as having something to offer in England's top-flight.
If he does secure a move to another Premier League club, then the bookies think that he'll be playing for Everton and Leeds, with Vardy just 6/1 to be playing for either club come the beginning of next season.
Nottingham Forest have also been given an assumed probability of over 14% of signing Vardy in the summer, but the Premier League trio aren't priced in the top three favourites.
Below are the odds for the remaining teams in the running to sign Vardy this summer, with the most likely of the remaining sides being given odds of 16/1.
