Jamie Vardy next club odds: MLS move likely for Premier League legend
Published:
The Jamie Vardy next club odds released by Ladbrokes suggest that a move to the MLS is likely for the Premier League legend.
At the end of April, Vardy announced that his 13-year spell at Leicester will end at the end of the current Premier League season, but the 38-year-old is being tipped to remain in England.
A move to the MLS heads the betting for Vardy's next team, as does a Wrexham transfer, with no Premier League club priced shorter than 4/1 to be the striker's next destination.

Jamie Vardy tipped for Wrexham move
The Wrexham fairytale continues as the side were promoted to the Championship through the automatic League One promotion places, and it seemed like their bid to get into the Premier League is going to be aided by the potential signing of a English football legend.
Wrexham are the favourites to sign Vardy during the summer transfer window, with the move seen as more likely than the Leicester striker leaving the country for for America.
A dramatic odds cut has seen 'any MLS team' emerge as the second-favourite behind Wrexham in the race for Vardy’s signature, according to Ladbrokes.
Scottish Premiership champions Celtic were 20/1 to sign Vardy when he announced he would be leaving Leicester, with Old Firm rivals Rangers initially seen as a more likely destination. However, his odds of joining Celtic have been slashed to 16/1, with a move to the club now much more likely than a Rangers transfer.
Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “Jamie Vardy has said that he wants to play at the top level, and with Champions League football on offer at Parkhead – not to mention the prospect of trophies – you can see why a move to Celtic would be appealing.”
However, Vardy is a major favourite to potentially join Kevin De Bruyne in ditching England for the USA, or potentially join the MLS.
Jamie Vardy next club outsiders
We've looked at the favourites, but who are the outsiders with a slimmer chance of securing Vardy's signature this summer?
Despite Wrexham being the favourites for his signature, Vardy reportedly doesn't want to drop back down to the Championship and still views himself as having something to offer in England's top-flight.
If he does secure a move to another Premier League club, then the bookies think that he'll be playing for Leeds or Nottingham Forest, with Vardy just 4/1 to be playing for either club come the beginning of next season.
Everton are also outsiders for Vardy's signature, priced at 25/1, with Sunderland, Southampton and West Ham at 40/1 each.
