Jessie J favourite to be winning judge on The Voice
Published:JESSIE J is now the odds-on favourite to be the winning judge of The Voice UK according to Ladbrokes.
The popstar has been slashed to 10/11 (from 13/8) to manage the winner of The Voice UK when the show hits screens in March after a big gamble by punters. As Jessie J edges favouritism it has left her fellow judges on the drift with will.i.am quoted at 7/2, Sir Tom Jones earns a 4/1 chance and Danny O’Donoghue is the current outsider at 5/1 in the market.
However the bookies aren’t confident that The Voice UK will trump Britain’s Got Talent in the war of the ratings, it’s odds-on (4/7) that ITV wipes the floor with the BBC during the opening show of BGT thanks to their new megabucks judging panel.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “The BBC will be hoping Jessie J will have a domino effect on their ratings since Alesha Dixon swapped her allegiances. Jessie’s a fans favourite and as her popularity increases her odds of winning will continue to tumble.”
