Jonathan Davies’ Rugby World Cup tips

Published:

WELSH RUGBY legend & Ladbrokes Rugby World Cup tipster Jonathan Davies feels Wales will give South Africa a run for their money in their opening game.

The player turned pundit is working exclusively for Ladbrokes for the duration of the tournament and has tipped Wales to come within 13 points of South Africa at even money in their opening pool match.

Davies expects the rest of the home nations to all cover their respective handicaps including England who he thinks will beat Argentina by more than 13 points.

Sadly for Wales fans Davies’ optimism ends there as he tips New Zealand for World Cup glory at 8/13.

His each way picks for the tournament outright are England at 16/1 and France at 14/1 and he fancies England winger Chris Ashton to reward top-tryscorer backers at odds of 18/1.

Jonathon’s views can be heard exclusively via the Ladbrokes Live service broadcast throughout the entire retail estate.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Wales fans can take heart from Davies’ prediction of a them playing a big game against South Africa. If he’s on the money we expect it to his us hard.”

He added: “He’s tipped the home favourites for World Cup glory and it would take a brave man to oppose that.”
