Leicester next manager odds: The favourites to replace Steve Cooper
Published:
Ladbrokes looks at the latest odds and favourites for Leicester City's next manager with Steve Cooper getting sacked on November 25.
After a 2-1 loss to Chelsea on November 23, Leicester made the decision to sack Cooper, with the ex-Nottingham Forest boss only having joined the club this summer.
The favourite to take over the Foxes next is Ruud van Nistelrooy, with the Dutchman having served as Man United's interim coach following the sacking of Erik ten Hag in October.

Van Nistelrooy is the favourite to take over from Cooper as Leicester's next manager, but he isn't the only man in the running according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes.
David Moyes is also in consideration, having been one of the names spoken about for the role over the summer, with Graham Potter taking the final podium spot.
However, RVN is the front-runner at the time of writing, so much so that Ladbrokes has him as the odds-on favourite, while fellow ex-Man United star Michael Carrick is considered a firm outsider.
Above are the five favourites to take over from Cooper and their odds, with every other name priced at 25/1 or higher, including the aforementioned Ten Hag, who had a 3% shot at becoming Leicester's next manager.
As for the other clubs who could be in the market for a new manager next, Russell Martin of Southampton is the favourite in the Premier League sack race to become the third boss to lose his job this season.

The aim for Van Nistelrooy, or whoever takes over at Leicester's next manager, will be to keep the club in the Premier League, but that will be a hard ask with the Foxes odds-on to back down to the Championship after only getting promoted this year.
