Liam Boyce wins Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month award

Published:

Ross County striker Liam Boyce has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for April, following a series of scintillating displays.

The Northern Ireland international netted six goals last month, with four coming in one match against relegation-doomed Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

He also netted a last-minute penalty against champions Celtic to ensure the Staggies nicked a point from Brendan Rodgers’ men three weeks ago.

Those strikes have taken his tally for the season to 20, making this his most prolific campaign in Scotland.

And this is the second time he’s received a Player of the Month award this season – only Moussa Dembele and Stuart Armstrong of Celtic can also say that this term.

County will travel to Dundee next weekend, where they’re 9/5 to pick up all three points. Do that, and it’s likely Boyce will have had a huge say in proceedings.
