Liam Delap next clubs odds: Several teams to battle it out

The latest Liam Delap next clubs odds suggest that several teams from across the Premier League are set to battle it out fo the services of the young striker.

With many of top clubs in need of a striker, and Alexander Isak likely being priced out of a move by Newcastle, English clubs look to be turning their attentions to Delap, Ipswich's number nine.

The player has a £30m release clause in his contract, as a result of Ipswich's relegation, and Man United are seen as the club most likely to activate it and sign the striker.

The latest odds on Delap's next club suggest that the player could move back to Manchester, but to join Man United rather than to return to Man City.

Delap's most likely next destination is seen to be Old Trafford, with the odds on a Man United transfer shorter than moves to Chelsea and Newcastle, two of the other clubs interested in the player.

A move for Newcastle to sign Delap could be accelerated if an attacker moves on, with Liverpool the favourites to sign Alexander Isak.

A Man City return and move to Champions League chasing Nottingham Forest could be on the cards, but as things stand, it seems as if Delap is most likely to be joining Matheus Cunha in signing for Man United if he does leave Ipswich.

As noted, as well as being the favourites to sign Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez, Liverpool are also in the hunt for a striker, and it appears their number one target is Isak.

But what if the Reds are priced out of a move for the Swedish striker? Well, then perhaps they turn their attentions to Delap.

The Reds are 14/1 to sign the player, odds they share with Arsenal, who are also prioritising a move for another striker, with the Gunners the favourites in the Viktor Gyokeres transfer race.

Also in the running are Everton, West Ham and Aston Villa, but all three are seen as major outsiders compared to the aforementioned favourites.
