Lakers’ NBA title odds slashed after blockbuster trade

The Los Angeles Lakers are now one of the favourites to win the NBA Championship after trading for scoring champion Luka Doncic, according to Ladbrokes.
The Lakers traded perennial All-Star Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks for the Slovenian superstar in the early hours of of the morning on February 2.

The move that saw Los Angeles’ odds of winning an 18th NBA title slashed from 50/1 to 16/1. The Mavs’ odds, meanwhile, drifted from 18/1 to 28/1.
Now a few days removed from the trade, the Lakers' odds have dropped even further, currently standing at 14/1.
