Man City vs Arsenal betting tips and predictions

Etihad Stadium - Man City

Ladbrokes shares its Man City vs Arsenal betting tips and predictions ahead of what is arguably the biggest game left to play in the remainder of the Premier League season.

Arsenal beat Man City 1-0 at home earlier in the season, thanks to a late goal from Gabriel Martinelli, and the Gunners will be hoping for more of the same when they travel to the Etihad Stadium this weekend.

Missing the game of the season between the two sides in October was Rodri, but the Spanish midfielder will almost definitely feature here, giving Pep Guardiola and co a lot more confidence heading into the huge title clash.

Ahead of the huge clash, which will have Arsenal, Man City and even Liverpool fans on the edge of their seats, Ladbrokes shares its predictions and betting tips.

Man City vs Arsenal betting tips and predictions

Man City and Arsenal to draw – 13/5

As noted, Arsenal beat Man City last time out, but as always, Pep Guardiola’s sides usually take some time to get into full swing. We’re not reaching the stage of the season were the Cityzens become unbeatable, and that’ll be put to the test when they face the Gunners this weekend.

While both sides will obviously be going for the win, that goes without saying, we’re predicting a draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon, a result that will excite Liverpool fans worldwide.

Neither team will have played in two weeks, even longer in Arsenal’s case, by the time the game rolls around, and we’re expecting that to mean the game starts somewhat slower than you’d expect.

It’ll be a case of both teams feeling the other out, so much so that we think the score will be tied come the end of the game, which you can back at the time of writing with odds of 13/5.

Under 2.5 goals – 21/20

As covered previously, we’re expecting the game to be quite the cagey affair, as was seen during the last Arsenal vs Man City clash in October.

The games between these two sides, especially recently, have tended to be more slow-paced chess matches, rather than frantic end-to-end classic when other title challengers Liverpool are thrown into the mix.

So much so that, for our next Man City vs Arsenal betting tips and prediction, we’re going for under 2.5 goals to be scored in this one. Only one goal was scored in the game at the Emirates last year, and we’re expecting that to continue this time out, with no more than two goals being scored.

Bukayo Saka to score – 16/5

Saka didn’t feature in any of England’s games during the latest international break after withdrawing from the squad with an injury, but the winger is still expected to be fit enough to feature for his club against Man City this weekend.

Having not played a game since Arsenal beat Porto on penalties in the Champions League on March 12, Saka has been afforded some much-needed rest, and we’re expecting that to come up trumps during the game against Man City on Sunday.

For our next prediction, we’re going with Saka to find the back of the net for Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend, having missed the game between the two sides earlier in the year, which can be backed at the time of writing with odds of 16/5.

Man City 1-1 Arsenal – 6/1

For our final betting tip, we’re predicting the score between Arsenal and Man City in Manchester this weekend to be 1-1, which you can back with Ladbrokes at 6/1.

As noted earlier, we think the game will be quite low scoring, with City and Arsenal both have enough to cancel each other out, but we also think that both teams have too much in attack to not score during the game.
