Mesut Ozil is rated a 3/1 chance to start Arsenal’s opening game of the new Premier League season against Fulham this weekend.
The Germany international has been out of favour for some time at the Emirates Stadium but did feature for the Gunners for the first time in six months in a friendly last weekend.
However, our traders reckon Ozil remains unlikely to break into Mikel Arteta’s first starting XI of the new campaign, with 1/5 the price on offer for him not to start.
With or without the 31-year-old midfielder, Arsenal will still be expected to pick up all three points against the newly-promoted Cottagers and are 4/7 to do just that.
