New Year 2025 odds and special bets

With 2025 now upon us, Ladbrokes looks at some of the odds and special bets on offer for things to happen this year, including Tyson Fury to appear on I'm A Celebrity!

With 2024 now in the books and the new year upon us, Ladbrokes is giving customers the ability to bet on various specials, with the names involved including Donald Trump, Taylor Swift, Marcus Rashford and the aforementioned Fury.

We kick things off with Fury's potential spell down under, but he isn't the only person potentially going on this year's I'm A Celeb!

Tommy Fury pulled out at the last minute from 2024's version of I'm A Celeb, but it could be his brother who is set to appear on this year's iteration.

The bookies have Fury at 5/1 to appear on this year's I'm A Celeb, with any politican being picked for the 2025 series but given shorter odds of 7/4.

The series, which was won in 2024 by Danny Jones, is one of the UK's most beloved reality TV shows, and is expected to kick off in November.

That's not all for reality TV, as the bookies also have Giovanni Pernice to return to Strictly Come Dancing in 2025 at 4/1 and Strictly Come Dancing to not even air in 2025 at 10/1.

As for other forms of entertainment, Ladbrokes has Pamela Anderson being nominated for an Oscar in 2025 at 8/1.

2024 was a big year for politics in the UK and the US, with Keir Starmer and Donald Trump winning the General and Presidential elections respectively.

Ladbrokes has odds on both the American and British political spheres, with Trump 3/1 to have his first sit-down interview after becoming President once again with either Nigel Farage or Piers Morgan.

Speaking of Farage, with ex-UKIP leader is one of the names in the running to become the next UK Prime Minister, and Ladbrokes has it at 12/1 for there to be three or more leaders in Downing Street across the next 12 months.

Trump is brining Elon Musk into office with him when he becomes President again, and Ladbrokes has the owner of X at 10/1 to sell the social media platform this year.

2024 saw the world shocked by the tragic passing of Liam Payne, and Ladbrokes has at least three members of One Direction reuniting for a live performance in 2025 at 4/1.

Also at 4/1 is for Wham! to be the Christmas number one this year, with Travis Kelce propsing to Taylor Swift at 2/1 seen as more likely.

Marcus Rashford could be set to leave Man United in 2025, but the bookies actually have odds on the England's winger off-field accomplishments too.

Ladbrokes have Rashford at 16/1 to get Knighted this year, with many feeling he deserves to be honoured for his work in getting school children free meals.

2025 could be an interesting year with regards to the weather, with the bookies having the record for the Hottest Day in the UK (40.3°C 19 July 2022) being broken at 3/1.

For what it's worth, Ladbrokes has also got the record for the Wettest Day in the UK (1337.3m rainfall in 2000) being broken at 3/1.
