Next UK Prime Minister odds: The favourites for 10 Downing Street
Published:
Nigel Farage is no longer the favourite with Ladbrokes in the next UK Prime Minister odds to replace Keir Starmer.
After a flurry of bets on Reform UK winning most seats at the next General Election, the bookies slashed odds on that outcome to just 3/1, having opened at 16/1, but those odds have increased and he's no longer the favourite.
Now, Farage (7/2) sits behind Kemi Badenoch (3/1) in the betting, the bookies think the Conservative Party leader is most likely to become Prime Minister next.
Next UK Prime Minister odds
The next UK General Election can take place no later than August 2029, with the Conservatives, Labour and Reform all pretty neck-and-neck according to the latest odds on which party is going to win the most seats.
Harvey Watkins of Ladbrokes: "Former market leader Nigel Farage is no longer viewed as the most likely candidate to become the next Prime Minister, with the bookies giving that honour to Kemi Badenoch of the Conservative Party."
Below are the odds for the six favourites, with Ladbrokes, to become the next UK Prime Minister, with the bookies giving the nod to Badenoch at this stage.
Keir Starmer to be replaced as Labour Party leader this year?
Keir Starmer could be replaced as Labour leader as early as THIS YEAR, according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes.
The bookies currently make Starmer just 7/1 to be replaced before the end of 2025, with Wes Streeting currently leading the race to replace him at 7/1.
Elsewhere, Andy Burnham and Rachel Reeves remain locked at 9/1 apiece in the next Labour leader market, ahead of Angela Rayner (10/1).
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "The odds suggest a surprise 2025 exit for Keir Starmercan't yet be ruled out - and it's still Wes Streeting who's top of the list when it comes to Labour's next leadership race."
Ladbrokes also has odds on who will become the next US President after Donald Trump's term ends in 2028, with JD Vance the current favourite with the bookies on that front, and on the next London Mayoral Election, with Sadiq Khan expected to win for the fourth time.
