Trump out? Biden and Pence backed for White House

Published:

Joe Biden’s odds of becoming the President of the United States have been slashed, fuelling talk he could be next through the door at the White House.

The Democrat is now chalked up as the 8/13 favourite, which leaves incumbent President Donald Trump on the drift to 13/8 with our traders.

And perhaps interestingly, Mike Pence has also seen his odds trimmed into 50/1 (from 66/1) following support in recent days.

We go 5/1 the price that Donald Trump is not the Republican candidate on the ballot on election day.

Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “With some speculation around Trump going the distance, punters are willing to take the bigger odds on offer for Pence replacing him and going on to emerge victorious.”

She added: “However, Biden remains the red-hot favourite and momentum is with the Democrats.”
