Premier League 2024/25 relegation odds: Favourites to go down

The latest Premier League relegation odds from Ladbrokes have it that Leicester and Ipswich are going to join Southampton in the Championship next season.

Southampton became the first Premier League side to get relegated this season, going into the history books in the process as the first side to go down with seven games left to play after their 3-1 loss to Tottenham on April 6.

The Saints only got back into the Premier League at the start of the 24/25 season after a season in the Championship, and the bookies are tipping the other promoted sides to go back down with them.

Man City are 12/1 to to get relegated from the Premier League this season, but a lot of that will have to do with a potential points deduction should they be found guilty of breaking financial rules.

With the 2024/25 Premier League season now coming to an end, Ladbrokes takes you through the odds for each of the sides who are still in the running to get relegated come May.

As noted, Man City are seen as more likely than Everton and Wolves to get relegated from the Premier League this season, but it very much seems like Ipswich and Leicester are heading for the drop.

Wolves and City are the closest of the remaining teams, so the bookies are clearly of the belief that the three promoted teams will be the ones going back down to the Championship, unless something truly drastic changes.

Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “Both Ipswich and Leicester are just about still in the running for survival as we enter the final stretch, but we aren’t giving them much hope of Premier League survival. The situation doesn’t scream ‘great escape,’ but the odds certainly do.”

The hope for the sides in the relegation mix is that, even if they do go down, they don't do so with one of the lowest points hauls in Premier League history.
