With the newly released 2025/26 Premier League fixtures, Ladbrokes looks at one of the biggest days of the year. Here is every Boxing Day game for next season.

The first thing to note is that there aren't actually any games scheduled for Boxing Day next season, with the fixture release listing all games on Saturday, 27 December instead. But with Christmas cheer still very much in the air, your festive football fix will more than be filled - just a day later than usual.

So, without further ado, let's take a look at every 'Boxing Day' fixture for the 2025/26 Premier League season, with the headliner coming from Old Trafford.

New Ladbrokes Offer

Every Boxing Day fixture for the 2025/26 Premier League season

  • Arsenal vs Brighton

  • Brentford vs Bournemouth

  • Burnley vs Everton

  • Chelsea vs Aston Villa

  • Crystal Palace vs Spurs

  • Liverpool vs Wolves

  • Man United vs Newcastle

  • Nottingham Forest vs Man City

  • Sunderland vs Leeds

  • West Ham vs Fulham

Arsenal vs Brighton

The Gunners have found themselves top at Christmas in two of the last three years, but having failed to win the league since 2004, Mikel Arteta's side will be hoping this season could finally be the one.

Brighton are the visitors on Boxing Day weekend, and the Seagulls have a strong record around the festive period in recent years, last losing a Boxing Day fixture in 2019. They also have a decent record at the Emirates, losing just once in their last five visits in all competitions - so this will be one to keep an eye on as you finish that leftover turkey.

Brentford vs Bournemouth

The Gtech Community Stadium hosts a Boxing Day battle as Bournemouth travel to West London to face Brentford, in a matchup between two sides who will be dreaming of European qualification.

Bournemouth haven't beaten the Bees in a league game since the two sides met in the Championship in 2014, but the last time Brentford played at home on Boxing Day weekend, they got thrashed 4-1 by Wolves - so the omens are daunting for both sides. Which team will get a late Christmas present this year?

Burnley vs Everton

Newly-promoted Burnley welcome David Moyes and Everton to Turf Moor in their penultimate home game of 2025, in what could easily be a battle towards the bottom of the league - or could the Toffees make a push for Europe, with their new stadium buoying them on?

After reaching 100 points in the Championship, Burnley will be coming into the league full of confidence - but a brutally difficult start to the season could damage their pride significantly, making this Boxing Day fixture even more crucial. This one isn't necessarily a glamorous tie, but it could have huge ramification for both teams.

Chelsea vs Aston Villa

In one of the weekend's most appealing matchups, Stamford Bridge hosts a Christmas cracker between Chelsea and Aston Villa, with both sides managing European runs alongside their Premier League campaigns.

Villa's 2025/26 Boxing Day fixture continues an unfortunate trend of difficult away games for them, with the Villans facing festive fixtures at Man United and Newcastle in the last two years. Chelsea, meanwhile, have a home game at this time of year for the fourth season in a row. Incidentally, the last time their Boxing Day fixture was away from home, it was at Villa Park.

Crystal Palace vs Tottenham Hotspur

In one of two London derbies in this year's Boxing Day fixtures, Crystal Palace welcome Spurs to Selhurst Park. Just like the game at Stamford Bridge, this one sees a Europa League side take on a Champions League team, with the 2025/26 fixture release providing a couple of Boxing Day blockbusters.

Palace have a wretched record on Boxing Day, last winning on this particular post-Christmas weekend in 2019. That poor run of results includes a 2021 defeat to Spurs, who will be hoping that Thomas Frank can give them the perfect present and turn their Premier League fortunes around.

Liverpool vs Wolves

The Premier League champions have been given a home game in this year's Boxing Day fixtures, with Wolves visiting Anfield. The Reds - who are already favourites to retain their title in the 2025/26 season - have a home game at this time of year for the second season in a row, beating Leicester 3-1 on Boxing Day last season.

Wolves haven't won at Anfield since a 1-0 win in 2010 - but that victory did come at the end of December. Most teams would have been hoping to avoid Liverpool on Boxing Day, especially at Anfield, but while this one seems straightforward for Arne Slot's team on paper, they won't be taking it lightly.

Man United vs Newcastle

In arguably the headliner of the festive weekend, Manchester United host Newcastle United at Old Trafford. Ruben Amorim's Red Devils have won more games and scored more goals on Boxing Day than any other side in Premier League history, so while this game may not actually be played on December 26, their festive form is usually top notch.

Newcastle come into the game at Old Trafford off the back of a crucial run of fixtures, facing rivals Sunderland and Champions League competitors Chelsea in the weeks leading up to Christmas. The Magpies have only lost one of their last seven PL games against Man United, so will be confident of sending their fans home happy.

Nottingham Forest vs Man City

In yet another Boxing Day battle between two teams fighting in Europe, last season's surprise package Nottingham Forest welcome Pep Guardiola's Man City to the City Ground. At Christmas in the 2024/25 campaign, Forest were a few points and a few places ahead of City in the table, but a disappointing run of form towards the end of the season saw them eventually finish in seventh.

City have only lost one of the last six Premier League games against Forest, and with the festive period always carrying so much importance for title challengers, this is a very tricky tie for the Reds. It's another game to look out for - especially if Forest repeat their form from last season.

Sunderland vs Leeds

The 2025/26 fixture release has worked up a huge Boxing Day tie at the Stadium of Light, with newly-promoted sides Sunderland and Leeds facing off. In what is expected to be a relegation six-pointer, the fierce atmosphere and high stakes are sure to contribute to an unmissable match.

Leeds stormed the Championship last year, racking up 100 points on their way to the title, and while they've only lost one of their last six against the Black Cats, this Premier League matchup offers a totally different proposition. It's one of the biggest games of the season for both sides, so this one really will be a festive feast.

West Ham vs Fulham

Finally, we get to the second London derby of the weekend, as Fulham travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham. Despite there only being three places between them in the table last season, Fulham had an 11-point advantage over their London rials, and will once again have aspirations of a European charge.

However, they have a rotten record in away games against the Hammers, with West Ham winning six of the last seven meetings at the London Stadium. The hosts have a good Boxing Day record in recent years, winning at Southampton and Arsenal in the last two seasons, so fans will be hoping that trend of festive joy continues.
