Premier League 2025/26 opening day fixtures
In the early kick-off on Saturday, 16 August, rivals for Champions League qualification Aston Villa and Newcastle come to blows at Villa Park.
The Magpies narrowly beat Villa to a place in Europe's elite competition last season, with Unai Emery's men set to juggle a Europa League campaign next term.
Fellow Champions League contenders Chelsea are also at home in their first game as they welcome FA Cup winners Crystal Palace on Sunday, 17 August.
The Blues, who are currently competing at the Club World Cup, will have their eyes on Champions League qualification once again after a fourth-place finish last campaign.
Tottenham's first game under new manager Thomas Frank is a favourable home clash against promoted Burnley.
Spurs opted for former Brentford manager Frank after sacking Ange Postecoglou despite winning the Europa League last season.
The managerless Bees, meanwhile, are set for an away trip to Nottingham Forest, while promoted Sunderland kick off their campaign at home to West Ham.
