The Premier League 2025/26 fixtures have been released, so Ladbrokes analyses the run-in for all the main relegation contenders as they battle to beat the drop.
We've already had a look at the run-in for the main title contenders, as well as a rundown of all the potentially decisive games on the final day of the 2025/26 season.
A few of them feature here, with there set to be some huge relegation clashes towards the end of next season. Let's dive into them and have a look at the relegation odds for each team.
Relegation contenders: the run-in
Sunderland
Sunderland vs Nottingham Forest - Saturday 25 April 2026
Wolves vs Sunderland - Saturday 2 May 2026
Sunderland vs Man Utd - Saturday 9 May 2026
Everton vs Sunderland - Sunday 17 May 2026
Sunderland vs Chelsea - Sunday 24 May 2026
Sunderland are heavily favoured to get relegated from the Premier League next season and return to the Championship, according to the bookmakers.
The Black Cats will be grateful to have three home games from their last five, but there is not an easy game on paper. Nottingham Forest and Chelsea both qualified for Europe, while Manchester United surely won't be as bad as in 2024/25.
Their trip to Wolves on 2 May could be pivotal. There is the added dynamic of playing Everton in The Toffees' new stadium and of course the presence of Jordan Pickford, still firmly a Wearside favourite.
Leeds
Bournemouth vs Leeds - Saturday 25 April 2026
Leeds vs Burnley - Saturday 2 May 2026
Spurs vs Leeds - Saturday 9 May 2026
Leeds vs Brighton - Sunday 17 May 2026
West Ham vs Leeds - Sunday 24 May 2026
Of all the promoted sides, Leeds United are deemed to have the best chance of staying up. Their run-in isn't easy, but it could be worse.
Leeds will host Burnley at Elland Road on 2 May in a true relegation six-pointer, and the sort of the game Leeds will have to win if they want to stay up. A home game against Brighton also represents a good opportunity.
There are tricky-looking away games at Bournemouth, Spurs and rivals West Ham on the final day, so United will be hoping their passionate home support will carry them to safety.
Burnley
Burnley vs Man City - Saturday 25 April 2026
Leeds vs Burnley - Saturday 2 May 2026
Burnley vs Aston Villa - Saturday 9 May 2026
Arsenal vs Burnley - Sunday 17 May 2026
Burnley vs Wolves - Sunday 24 May 2026
Burnley broke all sorts of defensive records in the Championship last season and will need to rely on that rearguard effort if they're to have any chance of staying up next year.
The Clarets have a challenging end to the season, with home games against Man City and Aston Villa as well as an away trip to Arsenal.
The two games Scott Parker will be targeting are their huge trip to Leeds on 2 May, as well as their home game against Wolves on the final day of the season.
Brentford
Man United vs Brentford - Saturday 25 April 2026
Brentford vs West Ham - Saturday 2 May 2026
Man City vs Brentford - Saturday 9 May 2026
Brentford vs Crystal Palace - Sunday 17 May 2026
Liverpool vs Brentford - Sunday 24 May 2026
With manager Thomas Frank moving to Tottenham and Bryan Mbeumo looking likely to leave too, Brentford are in danger of undoing their status as a solidified Premier League club next year.
Their worries won't be eased after the release of the fixture schedule. In their last five games, The Bees will have away trips to Man United, Man City and then Liverpool on the final day.
At the Gtech Community Stadium, Brentford have winnable home games against West Ham and Crystal Palace, but the West Londoners will hope to have secured their survival well in advance of this tough run-in.
Wolves
Wolves vs Spurs - Saturday 25 April 2026
Wolves vs Sunderland - Saturday 2 May 2026
Brighton vs Wolves - Saturday 9 May 2026
Wolves vs Fulham - Sunday 17 May 2026
Burnley vs Wolves - Sunday 24 May 2026
After losing Matheus Cunha to Manchester United, Wolves are another established Premier League at risk of being dragged into the relegation dogfight next year.
Wolves have a couple of huge games against the promoted sides during the run-in. They host Sunderland at Molineux on 2 May before visiting Turf Moor to play Burnley on the final day of the season.
Vitor Pereira's team also have home games against Spurs and Fulham, as well as a trip to the south coast to play Brighton.
