Nathan Aspinall and Gerwyn Price secured the other two playoff spots, with 'The Asp' leapfrogging the Welshman into 3rd place after Night 16 in Sheffield. Price is odds of 6/1 to win the whole thing, while Aspinall is priced at 9/1.

Michael van Gerwen, Rob Cross, Chris Dobey and Stephen Bunting have all now been officially ruled out of making the final four, despite Dobey and Bunting both picking up a nightly win this season.

The playoff format will differ from the regular season. Rather than matches that are best of 11 legs, the semi-finals are best of 19 legs, and the final will be best of 21. Could the longer games make a difference?

Luke Littler vs Gerwyn Price

Ahead of the action in London, Luke Littler, who is currently among the front-runners to win this year's Sports Personality of the Year Award, is odds-on to get past Gerwyn Price in their semi-final.

'The Nuke' played at a high level throughout the tournament and ended up on top of the pile with 45 points, with the 18-year-old winning 6 nights on his way to the playoffs.

However, standing in Littler's way is Gezzy Price, who won 3 nights himself in the Premier League. 'The Iceman' is one of the few players Littler struggles with, with Price winning six meetings in a row from last June until March.

The reigning Premier League and World Champion won their last two matches, and will be hoping to continue that in this big semi-final clash.

Luke Humphries vs Nathan Aspinall

Luke Humphries, who is among the favourites to win the 2026 PDC World Championship, takes on Nathan Aspinall in the other semi-final. The world number one finished 2nd in the standings, with Aspinall only securing passage to the playoffs on Night 16.

Humphries won 3 nights on tour to Aspinall's 2, and 'Cool Hand Luke' has won four of the last six matches between the two.

Night 15 in Aberdeen saw a record-breaking match between Humphries and Littler, which Wayne Mardle called "the best darts match ever".

Humphries lost but with an average close to 116, and a performance of that calibre should see him through against 'The Asp', potentially setting up a mouth-watering final.

**UPDATE** Luke Humphries won the 2025 Premier League of Darts, beating Luke Littler 11-8 in the final.
