Scarlett continues to lead the way in the I’m a Celeb market

We’re just a couple of days into the latest series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! but there’s already a theme beginning to emerge. Star of Gogglebox and market leader Scarlett Moffatt is preparing for her second Bushtucker Trial in as many days.

And as things stand, she’s on course to become just the sixth Queen of the Jungle.

In doing so, she’d be making history, as we’re yet to see back-to-back female winners since the show began in 2002.

But right now, it looks as though things are going her way – and at 5/2, she represents great value to go all the way this year.

For starters, she’s clearly struck a chord with viewers, who have chosen her to face a trial in the first public vote of the series. But, as she proved in last night’s challenge, she’s more than capable of delivering both entertaining and impressive performances when called upon.

She’s clearly well-liked in the camp too. Granted, the celebs have only just settled into life in the jungle, but it’s hard to imagine any of her campmates having a bad word to say about her any time soon.

And lastly, of all the celebrities currently in the jungle, she’s arguably the most relatable. Considering her sudden rise to fame through Gogglebox, viewers are likely to see Scarlett as ‘one of them’, and the voting may well support that.

She’s by far the most backed celeb Down Under, in terms of both bets placed and money staked, so providing our punters are thinking the same way that voters are, then Scarlett looks a shoo-in at present.
