Scherzinger & Robbie to be new X Factor judges
Published:NICOLE SCHERZINGER and Robbie Williams are the early front-runners to be new X Factor judges according to Ladbrokes.
The bookies have reacted to speculation surrounding the futures of Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole who are rumoured not to be returning for the next series of the hit show.
Scherzinger is 5/1 to replace Cheryl with ex-judge Sharon Osbourne an 8/1 chance. Robbie Williams is 3/1 narrowly ahead of fellow Take That star Gary Barlow at 4/1.
Natalie Imbruglia (6/1), Liam Gallagher (20/1), Elton John (25/1), Jason Donovan (10/1) and Katy Perry (6/1) are amongst the many stars that Ladbrokes have priced up.
Spokesman David Williams said: “Being an X Factor judge is one of the biggest gigs in TV and the betting on it will be rampant. Whoever slips into Simon and Cheryl’s hotseats will need an ego to match.
“Scherzinger has been mooted as an ideal replacement for Cheryl but the prospect of Sharon Osbourne locking horns with Dannii Minogue could prove a ratings-winner that proves irresistible.”
