Sandown - 1.30 - River King
River King is in what looks like a very strong contest, with a bunch of unexposed three-year-olds that have been able to get their head in front, leading up to this handicap. But he's weighted very well here; the lower weights have always done pretty well in this handicap. The trip will be perfect, and he's always looked like he's needed this step up. Any rain that comes will be a bonus for him. He's got a good draw, and I'd imagine he's going to be very competitive, like he always is.
4.25 - British Blue
British Blue is on a fact-finding mission - she won very well at Kempton first time out, and she then ran in a trial with the view to run in the Guineas after, but she didn't run as we had hoped, and as a result we find ourselves just trying to get her back competitive again. Everything should suit her this weekend, and we're hoping for a good run from her.
5.35 - Diamond Bay
Again, we've got another very competitive stayers race here with a lot of potential frontrunners in it. But he's got a bit to play with off his mark and the track will definitely suit. Unlike River King, though, any rain will probably lessen his chances. He's a very straightforward horse, though, so that's definitely going to help us.

Royal Ascot next week
I'm really looking forward to next week at Ascot - obviously Rosallion runs in the first race on day one. It'd be great to start the week with him getting his head in front in the Queen Anne... from there, anything else that happens would be a bonus.
