Simon Rimmer Even money favourite to face Strictly Come Dancing axe
Published:
Simon Rimmer’s time on Strictly Come Dancing could be coming to an end, according to our odds.
After escaping elimination in the second dance off on Sunday the chef now finds himself Even Money favourite for the chop.
Rimmer and partner Karen Clifton are yet to score above 20 in the three weeks of competition so far.
And that spells trouble for the 54-year-old, who looks set for his last tango next weekend.
Close behind him in the betting is Brian Conley at 5/2.
The singer was the lowest scorer in the first fortnight of competition, and could only record a paltry 12 in week two.
Conley and partner Amy Dowden have already survived one dance off. But we reckon they could be involved in another sooner rather than later.
Things aren’t looking good for Charlotte Hawkins either.
The Good Morning Britain newsreader received criticism from Head Judge Shirley Ballas and is now only 3/1 to be the next to go.
At the other end of the betting, Aston Merrygold remains the odds-on 5/2 favourite.
The two ladies are also involved in a titanic battle to be the Top Female in the contest.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Simon’s feeling the pressure, and he knows all too well if you can’t stand the heat you need to get out of the kitchen, or in his case, the dancefloor.”
