Social media reaction to England’s Six Nations Grand Slam
Published:England claimed their first Six Nations Grand Slam since 2003 by defeating France 31-21 in Paris, handing new coach Eddie Jones immediate success at the helm.
This was a some turnaround for a team that became the first World Cup hosts to be knocked out at the group stage under Stuart Lancaster six months ago.
The feat was roundly celebrated at the final whistle, both on the pitch and online.
Here’s the best of the reaction from Twitter as Dylan Hartley lifted the Six Nations trophy:

That was a desperately hard game to win – but England came through 31-21 and are true Grand Slam champions. Superb against Wales and France.
