Stuart Armstrong is the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month
Published:
Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for March following a string of fine displays for the newly-crowned champions.
The 25-year-old dynamo enjoyed a month to remember, scoring in each of his side’s three league fixtures.
During that period, Armstrong also earned his first Scotland cap and wrote himself into Hoops folklore by netting against Rangers.
March began with a goal in his side’s 4-0 demolition away at Inverness Caledonian Thistle before helping the Bhoys to a 4-1 Scottish Cup victory over Championship outfit St. Mirren.
Armstrong’s big moment followed with his fine left-footed drive putting Brendan Rodgers’ side ahead against their aforementioned Glasgow rivals.

And the goals didn’t stop there.
A crucial second goal away at Dundee before the international break was another highlight and the Inverness native has continued that form into April.
Next up for Armstrong and Celtic is the visit of Kilmarnock to Parkhead.
The champions are just 1/7 to secure all three points and further cement their supremacy at the top of the table.
