Ladbrokes looks at the outright betting for the 2025 Oscars, with Anora now the odds-on favourites with the bookies to win best picture.
The Oscars ceremony takes place on March 3, 2025, and betting is open with Ladbrokes for the 'best picture' category, as well as both the 'best actor' and 'best actresses'.
Anora is the current odds-on front-runner with the bookies, with Conclave and both A Complete Unknown and The Brutalist not far behind according to the latest odds.

British film Conclave is now just 5/1 with Ladbrokes to win Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards.
The papal drama was the joint-most successful film at this year’s BAFTAs, picking up four awards, and the bookies reacted by slashing the flick’s chances of landing the Best Picture Oscar by more than half from 12/1. Anora is the odds-on favourite at 2/5, while postwar epic The Brutalist is 4/1.
Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes said: “It would be a twist worthy of the film itself for Conclave to do a BAFTA-Oscar Best Picture double. And while losing out on the BAFTA will be a blow, Demi Moore’s Oscar chances still look to have substance.”

As noted, betting has also opened for the 'best actor' category at the Oscars this year, with Adrien Brody the odds-on favourite for the award.
Brody's role in The Brutalist was met with serious acclaim, so much so that the bookies think he's got over a 50% shot at beginning recognised as the best actor at the Oscars in 2025.
Below are the odds for all the other actors in the running to win the award with odds of 20/1 or smaller.

Elsewhere, despite being the even-money favourite, Demi Moore lost out on Leading Actress to Mikey Madison. However, she’s still 4/7 to win the Best Actress gong at the Academy Awards. Madison’s odds have been cut to 11/8.
