Our latest odds suggest Toby Alderweireld could be on his way to Barcelona in January.
The Tottenham Hotspur defender has a cut-price release clause that becomes active in the summer. Spurs could be tempted to sell him while they can still get a decent fee.
He’s now just 2/1 to join the La Liga champions in the New Year.
Gerard Pique has already had a few wobbles for Barca this season, while Samuel Umtiti is out with a knee problem. Alderweireld has been one of the best defenders around in recent years and his experience could be very handy.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “It looks as though Barca will be bringing in at least one centre-half in January, and the latest odds suggests that’s bad news for Spurs and their fans.”
