Tottenham v Manchester City: Guardiola gang can take advantage of Spurs’ poor home form

Tottenham v Manchester City betting tips and odds
Manchester City face Tottenham for the second time in 18 days this weekend but will be without Joao Cancelo, who surprisingly joined Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte is also expected to be missing having undergone a successful operation to remove his gallbladder, so assistant Cristian Stellin is likely to be in the dug-out.
We enjoyed a clean sweep of tips at 13/2, 16/5 and 17/10 when City fought back to beat Spurs 4-2 in January thanks to Dejan Kulusevksi scoring, a two-goal margin of victory and the hosts conceding in a win.
Hopefully we can repeat the trick with Sunday’s in-depth Tottenham v Manchester City betting tips and we also have a four-fold acca for the rest of the weekend’s televised games which get under way on Friday night with the west London derby between Chelsea and Fulham.
Quiet month for champions
A record-breaking £815million was spent during the January transfer window, most of which came from the coffers of Chelsea thanks to the British record capture of Enzo Fernandez for £106.8m, but Premier League champions Manchester City were very quiet save for the signing of 20-year-old midfielder Maximo Perrone from Velez Sarsfield and Cancelo’s shock loan move to Bayern with an option to buy in the summer.
Joao Cancelo has joined Bayern Munich on loan until the end of the season.

City only have one recognised left-back in the squad, Sergio Gomez, but Nathan Ake currently occupies that position and the Netherlands star is likely to be in the starting line-up to face Tottenham, who signed Sporting Lisbon wing-back Pedro Perro and Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma on loan during the transfer window.
The champions return to Premier League action trailing leaders Arsenal by five points and having played a game more, so the pressure is on to beat top-four hopefuls Spurs which is priced at 8/11.
January was a mixed month for City, who beat Chelsea and Arsenal in the FA Cup but were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Southampton and lost 2-1 at neighbours United.
However, they have won their last three matches in all competitions, including that comeback win at Tottenham, who have lost four of their last five home games in the Premier League.

They also trailed three times in a 4-3 victory against Leeds, so their form in front of their own fans leaves a lot to be desired.
All but one of Tottenham’s 10 home games have involved at least two goals, so City to win that way looks appealing at 21/20, but at double the odds we’ll go for the visitors to win and concede at 21/10 as they did less than three weeks ago as the first of our Tottenham v Manchester City betting tips.
Spurs had a 10-game run of conceding the first goal from mid-October to New Year’s Day, but they seem to be on the right road again, having broken the deadlock in all but one of their last six matches.
One of those games came at the Etihad where Kulusevski and Cristian Romero struck just before half-time to give the visitors a 2-0 lead, but Spurs unravelled after the break by conceding twice inside the first 10 minutes of the second half before Riyad Mahrez bagged a double to complete the comeback.
You voted @Mahrez22 as @etihad's POTM for January 🤩
Congrats, Riyad! 👏🌟

Spurs have now scored the opening goal in the last three Premier League meetings with City and won this fixture without conceding in the last three seasons.
Tottenham are 17/5 to make it four in a row or 8/1 to win to nil, while they can also be backed at 13/8 to open the scoring and 12/5 to do so in the first half.
However, for the next of our Spurs v Man City betting tips, we’re on the visitors to win from behind at 8/1.
Kulusevski gave us a 13/2 winner by scoring at the Etihad to make it back-to-back goals against City and is 12/1 to break the deadlock as he did on both occasions.
The Sweden winger has only scored twice this season, but is taking 1.5 shots per game and he looks worth chancing again in the anytime market at 9/2 as the last of Sunday’s Tottenham v Manchester City betting tips.
