The latest Love Island odds have been revealed, with this summer’s finale just days away.
Ladbrokes now reckon it’s a three-horse race, with Lochan and Whitney remaining odds-on shots as things stand at 4/6.
But narrowing the gap constantly are Tyrique and Ella, who are 2/1 in the betting, with Sammy and Jess close behind at 4/1. Elsewhere, every other couple is now 10/1 or bigger to go all the way next week.
Alex Apati, of Ladbrokes, said: “Monday’s grand finale could be much closer than first anticipated.
“We thought Lochan and Whitney were a shoo-in to be crowned king and queen of the villa but it looks like being a three-horse race, with Tyrique and Ella, and Sammy and Jess hot on their heels in the betting.”
Five couples in running ahead of Monday’s final
Just five couples remain in the villa after Scott and Abi were voted off by the islanders in Wednesday night’s episode.
The pair were up against Zach and Molly and Mitchel and Ella as their co-stars voted on the least compatible couple.
Scott had made it a fairly simple decision, having called an end to his relationship with Abi a few hours later saying he just wanted to be friends.
Mitch did not do himself any favours in the same episode when he branded his partner Ella “fake” just a few minutes after they had survived a compatibility vote.
The Yorkshireman opened up to Lochan and Tyrique to discuss his doubts about their relationship, claiming Ella cared more about her place in the villa than she does about him.
That sparked a social media frenzy as viewers accused him of trying to sabotage his own chances so that he could reunite with Abi outside the villa.
A night earlier, Abi and Scott were shown the door by their fellow islanders after their romance also hit the skids.
All the islanders were called to the dreaded firepit and the safe couples decided to kick out Scott and Abi, who were up against Molly and Zach and Mitch and Ella.
