Ladbrokes ambassador Nina Carberry reflects on her scores from Dancing With The Stars last weekend and talks about her biggest rivals in her latest blog

I did the tango last weekend where I was Lara Croft. Not only did I have to learn the dance, but I also had to take on that character, so there was a lot to think about.

It was a difficult dance but I really loved learning it. Unfortunately, I didn’t get very high marks from the judges, but I still enjoyed it. I wasn’t disappointed by the scores to be honest. Yes, I got high scores the previous week, but we didn’t do bad this week and it was still satisfactory. We got away with it and we can just try and progress now.

We are dancing to the cha-cha this week. It’s high-tempo and fun and again I will have to get into character, showing my party side! It’s another Latin dance so I hope it suits me again. Until I really get stuck into the choreography of it, it’s hard to know but hopefully it’s starting to click now.

Erica Cody has been unbelievable, almost getting top marks every week. She hasn’t had a lull any week. Her technique and performance have consistently been incredible. I also thought Missy Keating had a brilliant weekend as well.

I was very sad to see Neill Delamere go because he was so much fun backstage and I thought he did three good dances. I didn’t think he deserved to go, but that’s just the way it goes. If you don’t get the votes, you won’t stay in.

The support I have received has been overwhelming. My main priority is to keep up the quality of dancing and keeping everyone entertained at home!
