Ladbrokes looks at some of the odds for the UK General Election, with the next taking place no later than August 2029.

Labour won the 2024 UK General election in rather convincing fashion, beating the Conservatives for the first time since 2005 and ending the tories 14-year reign in charge.

However, it's no rest for the wicked, as Ladbrokes looks at the bets on offer right now ahead of the next UK General Election, which can take place no later than August 2029.

There's a lot going on in the UK political scene, with Rishi Sunak stepping down as Conservative party leader, and Kemi Badenoch replacing the former Prime Minister.

Prior to Badenoch's appointment being made official, whoever replaced Sunak as the next leader of the Tory party, was odds-on to NOT lead the Conservatives into the next General Election.

As noted, Labour won the last General Election, and the bookies think they're going to do enough as the majority party to win the next one too, whenever that takes place.

The bookies have given Labour just shy of a 53% shot of winning the most seats at the General Election, which can happen no later than August 2029.

The Tories, on the other hand, are at 40%, so the bookies seem to think things are going to be a fair bit closer than they were during the 2024 UK General Election.
