Tom Ince one of three signings Crystal Palace still working on

Reports claiming Crystal Palace still hope to make three more signings before the transfer window closes have Eagles fans feeling glad all over and Tom Ince’s mooted move south looks back on.

The identity of the trio are not yet confirmed, but Blackburn defender Scott Dann, Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley and Blackpool winger Ince are the names on most journalists’ lips regarding the south London club.

The England Under-21 star is only likely to sign on a short-term basis which would free him up for a big-money move in the summer, but if the Seasiders’ flyer can continue his fantastic form over the last 18 months then Palace could make a mockery of their current 11/10 odds to be relegated.

Indeed, with Pulis’ side up to 14th in the Premier League after their 1-0 win against Hull, a top-ten finish at whopping 25/1 odds may be a realistic target with 15 games to go.

However, even the most ardent Eagles fanatic will expect to come away from their next match at Arsenal with little more than pride, with the hosts 2/9 to win, Palace 12/1 for an historic away victory and the draw 5/1.

The Gunners have won all of their last four matches at the Emirates by at least two goals and such an eventuality looks very much on the cards here at 4/6.
