WATCH: Duggan at the double as Queen’s Park beat Cowdenbeath

Queen’s Park look to be finding form at the perfect time, with a 2-0 victory in the first leg of their Ladbrokes League 1 Play-offs semi-final against Cowdenbeath, and the sides face off again at Central Park this afternoon.

The Spiders’ star man on the night was Chris Duggan, with the Partick Thistle loanee grabbing both goals for the Hampden Park hosts.

Duggan’s first strike came within 25 seconds of kick-off, as he produced a fantastic finish when under pressure from the Blue Brazil’s defence.

The Australian hitman made it 2-0 from the spot with a cool finish, having dusted himself down following a foul in the box by Cowden’s Chris Kane.

It was a dominant display from the hosts, who are now 1/5 to reach the final against either Clyde or Elgin City.

With Cowdenbeath having lost seven of their last nine home games, and Queen’s Park having notched 10 victories on the road in this campaign, the best value appears to be on the 27/10 Spiders, with the hosts 4/5 to win on the day.

With Queen’s boasting the tightest defence in League 2, a 1-0 away win could also prove popular at 11/1.
