Wimbledon 2025: which Brits have the best chances at success?
Jack Draper Wimbledon 2025 odds: why he can make a deep run
Jack Draper enters Wimbledon 2025 as the British number one and a genuine title contender. After a breakthrough season that's seen him climb to world number four, the 23-year-old arrives at SW19 as the fourth seed, a position that keeps him on the opposite side of the draw from Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz until the semi-finals.
It’s been a year to remember for Draper. After his Grand Slam breakthrough came by reaching the semi-finals of the 2024 US Open, he followed that up by claiming his first Masters 1000 title at Indian Wells, as well as reaching the final of the Madrid Open. A run to the last four at Queen’s confirmed his growing comfort on grass, and his aggressive left-handed game continues to trouble even the most experienced opponents.
Draper’s serve and forehand combination makes him a major threat on this surface, and he now has the physical resilience to go deep over two weeks. With a favourable early draw and Centre Court support behind him, the stage is set for his best Wimbledon yet. Ahead of the tournament, Draper is fourth favourite odds of 12/1 to win the Men's Singles.
Emma Raducanu Wimbledon 2025 odds: can she find her form on grass?
Emma Raducanu returns to Wimbledon 2025 in her best shape for years. Injury-free and enjoying a consistent run of matches, the 2021 US Open champion looks ready to make a fresh statement on home soil.
She reached the quarter-finals at Queen’s this summer and is coming off a strong showing last year at SW19, where she made the fourth round. Her movement and shot selection have looked sharper in recent weeks, and she appears more composed and match-ready than in previous seasons.
Grass suits her style. Raducanu’s ability to take the ball early and redirect pace gives her a natural edge on fast courts. With a few confidence-building wins, she could play her way into the later rounds. If the draw opens up, a first Wimbledon quarter-final remains a realistic target, even if she remains an outsider to win the tournament. Raducanu is odds of 50/1 in the Ladies' Singles.
Wimbledon 2025 odds: other Brits to watch at SW19
While Draper and Raducanu lead the British charge, several other home favourites will be looking to make their mark at The All England Club.
Cameron Norrie reached the semi-finals here in 2022 and had a decent Roland Garros, beating Daniil Medvedev and reaching the fourth round before losing to Novak Djokovic. His trademark grit and court coverage make him a tough opponent in early rounds.
Dan Evans has had an encouraging return from injury, with surprise wins over Frances Tiafoe at Queen's and Tommy Paul at Eastbourne. His experience on grass is valuable, but he’s not made it past the third round at Wimbledon before.
Jacob Fearnley has emerged as one of the breakout British names in 2025. The 23-year-old made the third round of the Australian Open, repeated that result at Roland-Garros, and reached the quarter-finals at Queen’s.
In the Ladies’ draw, Katie Boulter returns looking to improve on last year’s second-round exit. She has enjoyed success on grass in the past, including a run to the third round in 2022, and still has the power and precision to cause problems on her day.
Harriet Dart has the tools to cause problems for seeded players, particularly on this surface. If she finds rhythm early, she’s capable of pulling off a first-week upset. Sonay Kartal joins the main draw as a wildcard and will be aiming to emulate her success in reaching the third round last year.
