Uruguay vs Holland – teams announced

Uruguay captain Diego Lugano has been ruled out of their semi-final clash with Holland, which kicks off at 7.30pm.

Lugano is replaced in defence by fit-again Villarreal centre-back Diego Godin, while striker Diego Forlan wears the captain’s armband.

Forlan starts in attack, and the Atletico Madrid forward is 6/1 to add to his three World Cup goals by scoring the first goal against Holland.

Holland, meanwhile, make two enforced changes to the side that beat Brazil in the quarter-finals.

Khalid Boulahrouz and Demy De Zeeuw are recalled in place of the suspended Gregory Van Der Wiel and Nigel De Jong.

Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie has recovered from an elbow injury he sustained during the win over Brazil, and he is 4/1 to open the scoring.

Uruguay: Muslera; M. Pereira, Godin, Victorino, M. Caceres; Gargano, Perez, A. Pereira, Arevalo; Cavani, Forlan (Captain)

Holland: Stekelenburg; Boulahrouz, Heitinga, Mathijsen,Van Bronckhorst (Captain);Van Bommel, Sneijder, De Zeeuw; Kuyt, Robben, Van Persie.
