Cher Lloyd Betting Odds

Cher Lloyd is arguably one of the most current acts to make it through to the live TV stages of the X Factor and has impressed the judges right from her first audition.

Her version of the Soulja Boy hit ‘Turn My Swag On’ attracted much positive comment and saw her soar to the top of the X Factor betting.

However, after passing through bootcamp, there were doubts about whether she would make the live shows after tonsillitis left her unable to sing at the judge’s house stage.

Mentor Cheryl Cole looked favourably on Cher’s previous performances to choose her as one of her challengers in the X Factor girls category and she has since made it successfully through the first two weeks and into the final 12.

But Cher’s popularity appears to be slipping after her performances of ‘Just Be Good To Me’ and ‘A Hard Knock Life’, with her raps potentially not living up to expectations.

She has drifted to 8/1 in the X Factor betting to win the show and has not been helped by some criticism in the media.

Cher is said to have a fragile mental state and is demanding much of the time of mentor Cheryl, who has had to devote a large portion of time to ensuring that she takes to the stage.

On the positive side, Cher is widely considered to be Cheryl’s favourite act, which may mean that the Girls Aloud singer will focus more time on song selection.

Cher is currently 5/2 to be the last girl remaining in the competition in the X Factor girls betting odds.
