Arsenal Champions League betting

A victory over Braga in their next Champions League game will ensure Arsenal’s passage through the group stages of the competition and there is every reason to believe that they will find the target in the game.

Goals have been a feature of Arsenal’s Group H campaign to date, as Braga found out in the first meeting between the pair when they fell to a 6-0 loss at the Emirates.

Arsene Wenger’s team have scored in all four of their group games thus far and have only drawn a blank in front of goal in one of their last 14 games in the competition.

This record puts them in with a strong chance of beating Braga, with the hosts finding goals much harder to come by in the group.

It is goal difference that currently means Arsenal top Group H from Shakhtar Donetsk and a win against Braga would almost guarantee that they will qualify for the knockout stages of the competition in this position.

Arsenal’s betting odds are 2/7 at present to finish atop Group H and their only game after Braga is a home game against Partizan Belgrade, which they will struggle to avoid winning even if Wenger opts to play a weakened team.

Punters wanting to bet on Arsenal may also want to consider some of the club’s attackers to finish as the top scorer in the Champions League.

The Gunners are the top scorers in the competition with 15 goals from their four games and Marouane Chamakh and Cesc Fabregas have both netted three each.

Fabregas is a definite starter in all the games he is fit for and his ability to score from midfield could make him a good bet in the top scorer market at 20/1, while Chamakh is slightly shorter at 16/1.

Arsenal are 12/1 to win the Champions League. See the full Champions League winners football betting odds market.
