Bet on Bury vs Bradford – Bantams out to halt Bury’s title charge

Published:

League Two continues on Tuesday with a full set of fixtures and there is plenty of value to be found in the League Two betting market.

High flying Bury host Bradford and after their 5-0 demolition of Oxford United last Saturday, Bradford will be hopeful of continuing their rise up the table at the expense of Alan Knill’s side.

The pre-season favourites for the League Two title haven endured a miserable start to the season but decent results at Oxford and Cheltenham have seen Peter Taylor’s side rise to 16th in the table.

Bury are 5/6 to beat Bradford and in the six games these two have competed in this millennium, Bury have won four, losing just the once with one game being drawn.

Bradford are 7/2v to come away with the three points, but backing under 2.5 goals at 49/50 seems sensible considering there has only been 12 goals in those six games.

Crewe Alexandra vs Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury have been on the slide in League Two as of late, winning just two of their last eight matches after winning five of their opening six games, and are 2/1 to beat Crewe on Tuesday night.

Crewe haven’t beaten Shrewsbury in their last three attempts, losing 3-0 in this fixture last season and Shrewsbury to win 3-0 on Tuesday is 28/1.

But despite losing to Port Vale on Saturday, Crewe had gone eleven games unbeaten in the league before that and look the value of Tuesday night’s fixtures at 13/10 to beat Shrewsbury.

A win for Crewe would lift them into the play-off places and they are currently 22/1 to win League Two, which seems a big price considering each way would offer 13/2 for Crewe to finish in the top three.

Despite their slump in form, Shrewsbury continue to be available at 7/1 to win League Two. See the full League Two football betting odds here.
