The move to the B2Net Stadium has done wonders for Chesterfield, after last night’s win over Accrington Stanley they remain unbeaten in eight games at home, scoring 27 goals in the process.

The 5-2 victory over Accrington stretched the Spireites lead to three points at the top of League Two, and John Sheridan’s team are now the 3/1 favourites to win the division.

Port Vale may have emerged from their mini slump with a win against Crewe last Saturday, but they were unable to break down a stubborn Burton Albion side that saw Mickey Adam’s side relinquish the favouritism for the first time in five weeks.

Vale are now 7/2 to win League Two but will have to wait to resume their challenge at the top as the FA Cup first round gets underway this weekend and Vale face a trip to Dartmouth.

Peter Taylor continues his mini-revival at Bradford after a 1-0 victory away to high-flying Bury on Tuesday night which saw them rise up to tenth in the league table.

After their shocking start to the season, Bradford are now just 12 points off Chesterfield and the 66/1 that was on offer for them to win League Two is now 28/1.

Despite the loss, Bury stay third just four points behind Chesterfield and can be backed at 6/1 to win League Two.

A last minute strike from Mark Wright for Shrewsbury Town secured them the three points against Crewe and they are also available at 6/1 to win League Two.

It was a bad night for Stockport who suffered their second 5-0 defeat in the space of four days and Paul Simpson’s side are just two points of the relegation places.
