Vauxhall Motors vs Hartlepool – Minnows unbeaten in eleven

Published:

Conference North side Vauxhall Motors welcome League One side Hartlepool to Rivacre Park on Tuesday night in anticipation of a famous cup upset.

The Conference North side are on an 11-game unbeaten run stretching right back to September 4th, and having held Hartlepool to a goalless draw at Victoria Park, Carl Macauley’s side will be confident of progressing to the second round.

At 13/5 to beat Hartlepool, the home side provide great value in the FA Cup betting.

However, Hartlepool ended their five-match unbeaten run when triumphing over League One leaders Brighton last Saturday.

The Monkey Hangers are 4/5 to beat Vauxhall but have won just twice on the road this season and have only managed five goals from those eight games.

Walsall vs Fleetwood Town

With Walsall propping up the rest of League One, this FA Cup first round replay could be another tie which doesn’t go the way of the Football League.

Fleetwood are currently fourth in the Conference having won promotion to the league last season, their fourth promotion in six years, and the Lancashire club are a big price at 7/2 to beat Walsall.

Walsall have won two of their ten home games this season, losing the other eight but are as short as 4/6 to beat the Conference side, which doesn’t seem like great value.

Port Vale vs Dartford

Despite being in League Two, Vale have a better chance of progressing into the second round of the FA Cup than the two League One teams do and this is reflected in their price, 2/9 to beat Dartford.

Until beating Dover last Tuesday, Dartford had gone nine away games without a win and Micky Adams’ side should be too strong for the Blue Square South side.

Port Vale are 8/15 to be leading at half-time and leading at full-time. See the full FA Cup football betting odds here.
