Reigning champions Manchester City are now odds-on favourites in the FA Cup betting odds after Liverpool were knocked out in the quarter-finals of the competition by Manchester United last week.

In 2023, Man City beat United in the final at Wembley Stadium thanks to goals from Ilkay Gundogan. Fast forward to 2024, and last year’s runner-ups are now second-favourites at 9/4 to go one better and win the competition.

There’s still a lot of football to be played, but as we look forward to the quarter-final later this month and beyond, Ladbrokes takes you through the front-runners to win the 2024 FA Cup.

FA Cup 2024 betting odds

Man City – 4/6

As noted, Man City are the favourites to win the FA Cup once again, with the final taking place on May 25. Ladbrokes has priced them at 4/6 to retain their crown, and it’s hard to dispute that.

They did well to beat Spurs, whom they were drawn against in the fourth round, and then Luton Town the following month in the fifth round. They also saw off Newcastle 2-0, progressing to the final four as a result. City have the depth and quality to win the competition; there’s no denying that, and are expected to beat Chelsea in the semi-finals later this month.

Man United – 9/4

Priced as the second-favourites are Man United, who beat League One opposition Wigan, Newport County and Nottingham Forest to progress to the quarter-finals, before seeing off Liverpool thanks to a late goal from Amad Diallo on extra time.

The draw has been kind to United in the semi-finals, where they’ll play against Championship side Coventry. Erik ten Hag can’t have asked for much more, and he’ll be hoping that the magic of the cup is on his side come the final in May.

Chelsea – 11/2

After losing out in the Carabao Cup final last month, Chelsea are priced as the third-favourites to win England’s other domestic cup competition.

At the price of 11/2, the bookies have pegged them as the third-favourites for FA Cup, where they’ll face reigning champions Man City next month in what Mauricio Pochettino will have viewed as a nightmare draw.

Coventry City – 25/1

Coventry showed what the FA Cup is all about when the Championship side knocked out Wolves in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup this month, progressing to the final four and booking their spot at Wembley as a result.

The second-tier side have been drawn against Man United, one of the countries most decorated clubs, and they’re seen as a long shots to win the competition, but stranger things have happened…
