Ipswich are odds-on as the favourites in the Championship betting odds to join Leicester in the Premier League, recording back-to-back promotions in the process. After a top season, The Tractor Boys will go second in the Championship if they beat Coventry tonight, putting them on 93 points with just one game left to be played.

The bookies have them at 1/5 to get promoted from the Championship in 2023/24, returning to the Premier League for next season through the automatic promotion places, but it’s still all to play for in England’s second-flight.

Leeds are level on points with Ipswich, but they have played a game more, so will need Ipswich to slip up if they want to be playing in the Premier League next season.

We’ve covered the Premier League betting odds in the midst of this three-horse title race between Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal, but now Ladbrokes takes you through the Championship betting odds for this season.

Championship betting odds

Ipswich

Ipswich Town came second in League One last year, earning a spot in the Championship through the automatic promotion places, and now they’re 1/5 to be playing in England’s top-flight next season.

With former Man United coach Kieran McKenna at the helm, Ipswich have blown fans away with their performances and innovative brand of football this season, and they'll be two points behind Leicester if they win their game in hand, with just two games to be played after that.

There’s still a lot of football to be played between now and the end of the Championship season, and all Ipswich need to do is win their games and hope that Leicester slip-up, which could see them crowned as Championship winner.

Leeds

Leeds are actually above Ipswich in the Championship, but given that they’re level on points and have played a game more, Ladbrokes has them as the third-favourites for promotion, with odds of 8/11.

This season has been one of major improvement for the side, following their relegation from the Championship. Young stars Crysencio Summerville and Archie Gray, leading to interest from top Premier League sides. Even if they are able to get promoted, Leeds will do well to retain the services of both their talented youngsters.

Leeds have 90 points after 44 games, and will be relying on both Ipswich and Leicester to drop points if they want to become Championship champions this season.
