Bet on Liverpool at 20/1 to be relegated before price is slashed

Blackpool, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers will all face a Liverpool side minus their talismanic skipper, and punters should take advantage of the huge 20/1 for Liverpool to be relegated now.

With just eight points separating West Ham in 20th and Newcastle in 8th, the 2010/11 Premier League relegation fight will go down to the wire and Liverpool fans should be worried as they look to former Anfield legend Kenny Dalglish to lead them to safety.

But the loss to Manchester United on Sunday means Kenny Dalglish missed the flight for his honeymoon period and the 20/1 for Liverpool to be relegated will be cut over Dalglish’s next three games.

Without their inspirational leader and with an out-of-sorts centre-forward, Liverpool face a fight to pick up points from their next three games away to Blackpool and Wolves, and at home to Everton, and Liverpool will be dragged further into a relegation battle come a fortnight Saturday.

Liverpool may be expected to pick up three points away to Blackpool and Wolves, but having won just two away Premier League games in 2010, the points are by no means guaranteed.

At home Liverpool are a better proposition and it’s been ten years since Everton last won at Anfield, but a return of five points from these three games will not be enough to drag Liverpool out of the mire they currently find themselves in.

Newcastle United and Leeds United both proved that the size of a football club doesn’t guarantee you safety and Dalglish has a tough job on his hands.

Both Blackburn and Newcastle are three points clear of Liverpool but are 5/1 and 9/1 respectively to be relegated.

Liverpool should be priced around this level and the next three games will see their relegation odds slashed to reflect their current position.

West Ham are current favourites for relegation at 4/6. New customers can sign up here for a free £10 bet.
