Burton and Bury a big price double in League Two this weekend

| 24.02.2011

Punters looking for League Two value this weekend can find plenty of it with home wins offering great League Two odds.

A £25 double on Burton Albion beating Rotherham and Bury beating Crewe would return £125 and new customers to Ladbrokes.com can sign up here for a free £25 bet.

Burton Albion vs Rotherham United

The fixture list hasn’t been kind to Burton who find themselves one point off the relegation zone having played around five games left than everyone else, but despite their lowly league position, the Brewers are formidable at home.

Burton have suffered just three losses in 13 home league games and at 6/4 to beat Rotherham, they offer plenty of value after defeating Chesterfield and Middlesbrough at home recently.

Rotherham may have won the Johnston’s Paint Trophy tie at Burton’s Pirell Stadium earlier in the year, but the Millers have lost all of their last five away ties and offer no value at 17/10.

Bury vs Crewe Alexandra

Crewe won emphatically at Alexandra Stadium earlier in the season and are 11/4 to beat Bury on Saturday, but Dario Gradi’s men have lost six of their last nine games.

Bury are a big price at 1/1 to win at home and have won three of their last four home games with Crewe drawing the other 1-1.

However Bury have drawn four of their last eight games 1-1 and it’s the favoured result in the Bury vs Crewe betting at 11/2, but while the outright draw is priced at 12/5, Bury have enough to claim the three points.

Shrewsbury vs Gillingham

This is a vital home tie for Shrewsbury if they are to seriously challenge for automatic promotion and they are 6/5 to beat a Gillingham side who have drawn four of their last five games.

Shrewsbury are on a four-match winning streak having scored 11 goals in that period and look a decent bet at 7/1 to win 2-0 and cement their place in the top three.

A £25 treble on Burton, Bury and Shrewsbury winning would return £275. New customers can sign up here for a free bet worth £25.
