Man City vs Dynamo Kiev – Both teams to score is best bet

| 17.03.2011

Dynamo Kiev have been on fire away from home in the Europa League of late and if they manage to score just once at Eastlands, then they are virtually assured of a spot in the quarter finals of the tournament.

Match Odds

Before the first leg in the Ukraine, Manchester City were favourites in the Europa League betting, but their 2-0 defeat has left them with a mountain to climb at home to reach the last eight.

Manchester City’s betting odds are 4/9 to beat Dynamo Kiev, but they are 2/1 to overturn their first-leg deficit.

The good news for Manchester City is that Dynamo Kiev have never won on their nine career visits to England and have lost on eight of these occasions.

However, the bad news is that they have managed ten goals in their last three away games in this season’s Europa League, including four goals at both Bate Borisov and Besiktas.

Just one goal for Kiev at Eastlands would mean Manchester City need four goals to qualify and it is 1/3 that they secure a result to take them into the last eight.

Meanwhile, it is 13/2 in the Europa League betting that Kiev beat Manchester City again and 16/5 that they leave with a draw.

Both Teams To Score

Perhaps the best betting opportunity available for the Europa League clash is the 1/1 that both teams find the target.

Manchester City have to attack if they want to remain in the competition, while Kiev will know that one goal will virtually ensure their passage through.

However, the one question mark on this is that Kiev have never scored in Manchester, losing to nil in both of their games at Old Trafford against Manchester United.

The 5/6 offered that the game witnesses over 2.5 goals scored is also worth considering.

A £25 stake on Manchester City beating Dynamo Kiev 4-2 would return £1000. New customers can sign up here for a free £25 bet.
